Busy, Busy, Busy

What a busy week. After all the surgery mess, I still had a wedding and groom's cake to make for Saturday afternoon. Denny did a great job of keeping Emerson very busy Friday night and Saturday until I delivered the cakes.

Saturday morning Denny, Emerson and Kaki went to the Hilltop Arboretum Plant Sale and then to the Farmer's Market. Then Denny took Em to the park at CCL to play. Once the cakes were delivered and Em woke from her nap we decided to take her to Dixie to ride some rides. She had a ball.
After riding rides we went to Kaki and Papa's for awhile. We met ReRe and Martha, aka "The Monkey Lady" for Mexican food. Needless to say she slept well Saturday night.

Today we got up and went to Global Wildlife. She is still too young for this and really could have cared less about the animals. She was very interested in the feed and the cups, walking all over the wagon and throwing the feed on the floor instead of giving it to the animals. She was a pistol on this trip and tried her best to get her way. We will give that trip another few years. Here are a few pics.
After several melt downs and lots of "Terrible two" tears we finished our time with the animals and decided to go into Covington for lunch. She fell asleep in mid-sentence with her hand in the Cheez-it bag.

Lunch was great- Pizza at Isabella's, our favorite pizza place in Covington. On our way home we also stopped at Bass Pro to check all of that out. She liked the fish.

What a great ending to a busy week.

Anyone have any suggestions on this Terrible Two business- it will wear you out!
