Daylight saving time

Really, what is the purpose? It is really messing things up around here. She wakes up at least an hour early and then is struggling during the day. We have tried keeping her up in hopes she will sleep later in the morning, but then we get tired and are ready to go to bed. I hate this time of the year! A picture from last week.
