Kenilworth July 4 Parade

While I was still at work and then home working on a little girls 6th birthday cake, Denny took Em to the Kenilworth Parade.  They hung out with Van Robinson, Val and Gabe to watch the parade and have hot dogs.

Later that evening, The 3 of us went and watched the fireworks at CCL.  It has gotten to be our July 4th tradition.

The girls

Emerson, Isabella and Avery all celebrate July birthdays.  As part of Bella and Avery's birthday celebration, they each got to bring a friend and come spend the day in big B.R. at Blue Bayou and Dixie.  Em opted to skip a day at Disney Dance camp to be able to spend the whole day with her sisters, Bella and Avery...and those other 2 people they brought along...Ha. They had a great time together as always.  Hoping we get to see them before school starts back in August!

Not sure why I dont have any pics with Bella, but I guess we had enough of those from the beach.  It was Avery's turn I guess.

Summer Pics- Em and Ri

As always with our crazy summer schedule, I am always behind on posting.  Lots going on around here.  House for sale, Em in lots of camps and fun summer activities, work, Em turning 6 years old and now we find ourselves with only 4 more weeks of summer before school starts again.  Exciting to be entering 1st grade for sure.  Here are a few summer pictures that I have not posted.

Rosemary Beach, The Sandcastles, Part 4

Denny's Sand castle's...

Rosemary Beach, Part 3

So our last day was very windy and the surf was very rough.  It was the perfect kite day and we had our Hello Kitty kite that flew almost all day.

The girls started digging a whole first thing and they dug this whole all day long.  It ended up huge and people would stop and comment on how deep it was.
Just starting to dig.

All three of them can fit now.

It is the end of the day and the Beach Chair people are starting to pick up the chairs and umbrellas.
It told the girls to jump in so I could taker pictures.  I love their faces!

What's a beach trip without Denny's Sandcastles...Part 4.

Rosemary Beach, Part 2

The girls would Boogie board, play in the inner tube and then one day they tried their hand at Yolo Boarding.

Em trying it by herself.

Now, all three on the board at one time.

And the tube...

We were pretty disappointed in our shell and sand dollar hunting this year.  Not much to find.
Em found this on our last day.

The surf was very rough on the last day.  The girls found other ways to occupy their time.  More on that in Post Part 3.

Rosemary Beach 2012, Part 1

Back from, what I think, was our best beach trip to date! So many factors played into making this trip the best.  We had perfect weather and most days the water was crystal clear.  AND we had Isabella.  Here is the story behind that... Bella was in Rosemary the week prior staying with a friend.  She knew we were coming up on Saturday, the day before she was due to leave and go back to Jackson.  She called Saturday planning when we would be getting in and could we bring Em over to swim with her.  While I unpacked and made a grocery store run, Denny took Em to meet up with Bella and swim with her and her friend Claire.  Bella says how she does not want to leave and how great her week has been.  Miss Emerson suggests to Bella that she call Auntie A and see if she can stay with us...

We had a ball.  Em had a blast with a constant playmate.

Bella and Emerson share a Birthday.  Bella will turn 11.  So, she is a big girl to Em.  Bella carries a purse as you can see.  Emerson has started taking an interest in carrying a purse and wanting to pay with her money and carry a phone, lipstick, a rock she found, a rubber band, a small doll, another lipstick just a different color, a small note pad, 2 pens and more very important things one should carry in a purse that your parents end up holding because it is way to heavy or you were leaving it at the last place we were.  We took the girls to Pier Park in Panama City one night and Em insisted on buying a purse similar to Bella's.

In Seaside.

Our friends The Gautreaux's own a beach house in Grayton Beach.  One day Lisa, Russell and Ben came and hung out with us for a late lunch and then several hours by the pool. The girls had a great time playing with Ben.  Ben on the other hand had entirely too much girl time.

Now, throw another kid in the mix, McKenzie. McKenzie and her family have been a part of our Rosemary Beach trips every summer since we started going there and this is where we met the Pheiffer's. I have posted many pics of her and Em playing together. They are always in Rosemary at the same time we are and the girls always end up spending everyday together.  Until this year, we did not know their last name or much other than they are from Texas. Needless to say, Em, Bella and McKenzie spent every minute at the beach and the pool together.  McKenzie has an older brother and a younger brother.  Her Dad, Chris and grandmother brought the kids to the beach, because their mother, Mariah is 8 months pregnant and on bed rest with twin boys!  WOW!!! There are many more pics of the three of them to come.

Look at how smooth and clear the water was.  Em and Bella decide to try some boogie boarding.
More to come...
