She has been asking for a few years now, but considering she just turned 10, we thought this was the year she was old enough to go. Emerson and Lila attended Pine Cove Christian Camp in Columbus, Texas. Emerson can't wait to go back. She met plenty of new friends and has been writing letters back and forth since the summer. Letters, real handwritten letters...remember those? Denny and Courtney drove the girls to camp.
None of us had any idea what camp would be like and I think the girls were impressed.
Pine Cove has an app that would tag Emerson in pictures and they would send us the pics each day. So fun to see her interacting with new friends.

She is counting down the days until summer when she can go back. She is hoping we will let her go to the new Pine Cove in North Carolina.
