Sea World

Sea World was the least crowded attraction we went to, which was great for us.  We started our day there with a Dolphin Encounter.  The trainers were in the training pools and we got to meet the dolphins up close and personal. We got to feed them and ask questions.  Emerson enjoyed learning that they are fed mostly fish and then during the shows they are also given ice cubes and jello that has vitamins and minerals in them.  Emerson really got a kick out of the fish flavored jello. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that there were roller coasters at Sea World.  One of our favorite roller coasters was at here at Sea World and Em and I rode it several times.

The famed Shamu Show was pretty cool also.

Beluga Whale exhibit was pretty wonderful.  Something we will probably never see again.  They are just magnificent.

And of course, anything I do outside always involves a bird pooping on my head.  It's like they seek me out.  There was not a tree or building anywhere close to where I was walking, but they still seem to find me!

Sea World did not take all day and it was our last day in Cali, so we headed to Coronado Island to spend the rest of the day taking in the beach and the ocean.
