Rosemary Beach 2013

We had a great beach trip as always.  We were lucky to get to spend half the trip with the Overby's.  We always try and time it to where our trips overlap at some point. We slacked on the sandcastles this year.  She spent more time in the water and digging holes.
Emerson learned to snorkel on this trip and spent every second she had in the ocean or swimming pool seeing what she could find.  She snorkeled so much, the skin between her bottom gums and lip were raw after the 2nd day.

Counting down the days until we go again.  We all three have the Rosemary Beach blues...

Besides The Beach, Vacation Bible School, Sports Camp, Days with Mandi, Mudpies Art Camp, a week with Isabella and Cheer Camp, Emerson has been bored.

Happy Summer!  Can't believe it is almost over.  School starts in just 4 weeks.  Our summer has busy with work and taxing you know who around can get hectic at times. Emerson's summer has been fun and jam packed with camps and fun stuff.  We got to have Isabella here for a week and Em loved that.  Bella attended a week long intensive ballet camp here in Baton Rouge at Dancers Workshop. It was nice to have an older child around, but then we had to detox the non-twelve year old after Bella was gone.
Emerson and Bella share a birthday so we got to have her here right before which was a treat for us. We took Bella to eat Alligator, so I am sure she will be talking about that for awhile. "No big deal.  Just tastes like chicken".

Being as though The Overby's are from Mississippi and Scott went to Ole Miss, Denny and I never miss an opportunity to take the girls around campus and take as many pics as we can of them in Tiger Country!!
We had a pretty special week and it is always sad for the girls to say good-bye.
