Emerson also received many wonderful gifts from family that included a Rapunzel Barbie, Rapunzel Leapster game, Pink Lego set, Pink Princess cash register, Kids Coo-Coo Clock for the playroom, Membership to the Audubon Zoo and Aquarium, Princess Tea Party CD that says her name in the music, books, Kids Yahtzee, awesome 300 piece Mini-Mouse puzzle that took me and Denny 3 hours to put together and an American Girl Doll that we are still in shock over! I am sure I left something out, but she is loving everything she has received and is truly playing with every single thing she got. Thanks to everyone!

Look what Santa brought
Emerson asked for really only one thing and that was a Princess Magical Mirror. Luckily, she was a good girl and got what she asked for. Santa also left her Cinderella Castle Play set, a Crayon Maker, A Dora Microphone, a Rapunzel nightgown and a few books she expressed interest in at the Book Fair at school. She was so excited and is playing with all the things she received. Santa may be regretting the Dora Microphone purchase...ALOT!
Not sure who likes the Crayon Maker more Emerson or me and Denny. LOVE IT!
She looked so cute Christmas Day until she and her cousin Roman decided to go outside without telling anyone and got on Roman's 4-wheeler in the freezing cold with no shoes or jacket. The best is they turned it over in the mud and both had no extra clothes to change into! Too bad I don't have a picture of them!

Christmas Eve 2010
Cookies for Jesus
It is our Christmas Eve Tradition to make cakes in honor of Jesus Birthday, however this year she wanted to make cookies...so cookies it was.
She then passes them out Christmas Eve as a "favor".

Aquarium with her sisters
If you ever hear Emerson say she has sisters , these are the 2 she is referring to. And she will argue with you as to whether they are true sisters or not! Auntie A and the girls came down last weekend and stayed before they head to DC to spend Christmas with her family. It doe snot matter what we do, these 3 just love being together. You have to watch those 2 little blond sisters close. They can get into some trouble!
I have SO MUCH to post to get caught up. Maybe the holidays will allow me to do that. Guess we will see.

Happy Thanksgiving 2010
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. We did. It was low-key for us for once. We had lunch at my parents house then actually got to come home where we hosted Thanksgiving dinner for Denny's parents, Ann and Mallory. It was so nice to not be running the streets going place to place. Emerson had a "Journal of Thanks" that she made at school and her homework for over the break was to have her friends and family fill out her journal with their thoughts on Thanksgiving and what they are thankful for. She got into her assignment for sure and it made Denny and I realize what we are the most thankful is probably what we take for granted most often.

I will try and do a better job of posting and I have lots to post, but am short on time to sit down and do it. I have been so crazy busy with cookies the last few weeks any spare time I have had has gone to baking or decorating. I am not complaining, just wondering what I have done to myself and if I should hire a crew to help. Emerson told me to tell Eli, our Elf on the Shelf, to ask Santa for help. Needless to say there are no elves in my kitchen right now. I delivered 12 dozen this morning and will mail or deliver a remaining 5 dozen this week. Grateful to have the business, but frightful of getting it all done and balancing this with family, Christmas decorating, Christmas shopping, the laundry, sleeping... Luckily, Denny is a great Dad and has taken up the slack the last few days.
Will post more soon. I hope.

Her favorite
As part of our Princess Lunch at the Castle, they took professional pictures with Cinderella. The pictures were delivered to our table while we were eating lunch. The Castle was fabulous, the lunch was great and the experience was wonderful. Emerson barely ate anything she was so excited. She even passed up a cupcake. Now you know she was preoccupied!

Magic Kingdom
Here are just a few of what we took. I will post Emerson and Princesses after this. I think it needs a post all by itself!

The Wicked Stepsisters were my favorite by far. They were SO in character, so funny and a bit nasty.
